No. CuePOS runs on Android, iOS, Windows and macOS, so you can use the tablets, phones and computers you already own. If you'd rather not source your own, you can lease a Sunmi D3 Pro till from us as part of your subscription (see Hardware). To take integrated card payments you'll need a Stripe card reader, or Tap to Pay on an Android phone.
Yes. You can record payments taken on your existing card terminal against the tab. We recommend an integrated Stripe reader for a faster checkout: the amount is sent straight to the reader, and refunds go back to the customer's card from CuePOS.
Each trading day closes itself automatically, and the daily close (Z report) can be emailed to you. The back office also has a VAT summary for your returns, sales by day and type, product profit, hours played per table, member activity, till counts and gift card liability. Every report exports to a spreadsheet for your accountant.
With offline mode (currently in beta) switched on, staff can keep starting and ending tables, running tabs, selling products and taking cash. Everything syncs back automatically when the connection returns. Card reader payments, refunds and bookings need a connection.
